That’s why we offer a free 90-day warranty as standard with every car we sell. But what happens beyond that period? 

That’s where our RAC extended warranty comes in, and we’ve made sure it’s well worth your while, with plans that protect you and your car from expense and inconvenience.

Full access to RAC approved garages across the UK

Up to ÂŁ50 a day for car hire costs for up to 7 days, if the repair time is over 8 hours

Included in Europe for up to 60 days per year
Transport or overnight accommodation up to ÂŁ300 if needed

Some frequently asked questions about Carlingo extended warranty
  • How long can I extend my warranty for?

    You can extend your warranty for 1,2 and 3 years.  It’s totally your choice.  We’ll accommodate you whatever you want to do.

  • How is Carlingo extended warranty different to your 90-day free warranty?

    The 90-day warranty is a free, short term warranty plan that comes with every single Carlingo car.  If an unexpected problem occurs after 90 days, it’ll no longer be covered. If you purchase one of the two extended warranty options, your car will be covered for either 1,2 or 3 years – depending on which length warranty you’ve purchased.

  • Will my car have the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty?

    Some cars we sell may still be young enough to qualify for a balance of manufacturer warranty.  Manufacturers offer different levels of cover for different elements of the vehicle and for different timeframes.  For details, please check with the manufacturer. However, we can’t guarantee that a manufacturer warranty is still valid on a vehicle sold outside the dealer network and so we provide you with a free 90-day guarantee (including breakdown assistance) on every car purchased and give you the option, during your purchase, to extend this to 1, 2, or 3 years for an additional charge.

Once you’ve taken out your extended warranty, you have a 7-day cooling off period where you can change your mind and cancel it without charge.
